How do I get my book stocked at Flutter?

We want to buy directly from authors whenever possible! If you'd like us to carry your books, please fill out our Author Submission Form.


Quick Notes:

It's easier for us to order through Ingram, but we’re committed to building Authors First partnerships.


We will read every submission form that we receive. However, due to limited staff time, we are unable to respond to all submissions. You will hear from us only if we decide to stock your book. Please remember that we have limited shelving space and have to make tough decisions about what we are able to stock.

Can I host a signing or event at Flutter?

Absolutely! We want to support your releases and connect you with readers. We primarily arrange events by working with publishers and publicists. If you are a publisher, publicist, or agent, please contact us by email Sarah Piechuta at sarahpiechuta@gmail.com. If you are an independently published author interested in having an event at our shop, please read on.

We are not able to host after hour events for books that we do not stock in store, so if we don't already stock your book, please read the section above called "Will you stock my book?" If we do already stock your book then please contact us by email.

Pop-Up Author Signing

Are you a romance author looking for a casual, cozy way to meet readers? We’d love to welcome you for a Pop-Up Signing at Flutter Romance Books!

Here’s everything you need to know:

Who can host a pop-up signing?

Any romance author is welcome! You do not need to already have your books stocked with us to participate — but your book must fall within the romance genre (central love story + happy ending).


When can I host a pop-up?

Pop-up signings are available during regular business hours. You’ll be provided a table and space in the store to meet readers, sell, and sign books.


How does selling work?

If Flutter already stocks your books, readers will purchase copies through our system like any regular sale.

If we don’t currently stock your books, you are welcome to bring copies to sell. We will keep track of the number of books sold. At the end of your event, Flutter will purchase any copies sold at your direct cost (not retail price).


How do I sign up for a pop-up slot?

To schedule your pop-up signing, please email fill out our Pop-Up Author Signing Form.

We’ll coordinate with you to find the best available time!

What’s the Flutter Discovery Author Program?

We want to help get your book in the hands of readers!

We offer a Discovery Author section in-store:

Customers who spend $75+ can select a free book donated by authors like you!


Important:

Donated books are never sold — only gifted.

Please do not send anything without an invitation.
