How do I get my book stocked at Flutter?
We love discovering new authors and, whenever possible, we prefer to purchase directly from authors and publishers. If you'd like us to consider carrying your books, please complete our Author Submission Form.
Your submission doesn't just help us evaluate your book for our shelvesâit also helps us discover titles for one of our most popular programs: Blind Date with a Book.
Each month, we sell 300+ Blind Date with a Books, making it our #1 book category in the store. We regularly use submissions from this form to build our ordering list through Ingram, allowing us to place books directly into readers' hands. Being selected for a Blind Date means your book is introduced to customers who are actively looking to discover new authors and often return for more books from writers they've fallen in love with.
Quick Notes
*We can order through either Ingram or directly from authors. While ordering through Ingram is often the easiest for our inventory process, we're committed to building Authors First partnerships whenever possible.
*Every submission is reviewed by our team.
*Due to the volume of submissions and our limited staff time, we are unable to respond to every author individually. If we decide to order directly from you, we'll reach out using the contact information provided on your submission. If your book is available through Ingram, we may simply place an order without contacting you first.
*Shelf space is limited, and we carefully curate our inventory to ensure we have a balanced selection across romance subgenres.
*Even if your book isn't selected for our shelves right away, it may still be chosen for our Blind Date with a Book program or other future opportunities.
Can I host a signing or event at Flutter?
Absolutely! We love partnering with authors to celebrate new releases and connect them with readers.

Event Types We Offer
We offer a variety of event options designed to meet authors wherever they are in their publishing journey.
Pop-Up Author Signings
â Great for meeting readers, signing stock, and introducing your books to new audiences.
After-Hours Ticketed Release Events
â Perfect for celebrating a new release with your existing fan base through an author conversation, Q&A, signing, and exclusive event experience.
In-Store (Hosted in our bookstore for up to approximately 75 attendees.)
Offsite Events (Larger author events held at nearby venues for audiences of up to approximately 300 readers.)
Launch Parties
â Looking for a place to celebrate your new release with your readers? Our private launch parties give you exclusive use of our space to host your own event. These are non-advertised private events, designed for you to invite your own audience, friends, family, street team, and readers for a personalized book launch celebration.

Different events serve different goals, and the best fit depends on what you're hoping to accomplish.
After-Hours Ticketed Events
These events are designed to celebrate a new release with your existing readers. They create a memorable experience through author conversations, Q&As, signings, photo opportunities, and exclusive merchandise or giveaways. They're ideal for authors with an established audience looking to create an unforgettable launch experience.
Pop-Up Signings & Daytime Events
If your goal is discovering new readers, daytime eventsâespecially Saturdaysâare one of the best opportunities.
Unlike ticketed events, customers are already in the store browsing and looking for their next favorite book. Many are happy to try a new-to-them author after a conversation or recommendation.
We've found that authors who actively engage with shoppers consistently have the strongest events. Greeting customers, asking what they enjoy reading, and inviting them to learn about your books creates genuine connections that often lead to sales. Authors who remain behind the table waiting for readers to approach generally don't see the same results.
Launch Parties
Looking for a place to celebrate with your biggest supporters? Our private launch parties are a great option for authors who want to host their own event.
Unlike our public bookstore events, launch parties are private, non-advertised gatherings. You invite your own guestsâfriends, family, street team members, ARC readers, book clubs, and fansâand we'll provide the space for you to celebrate your release.
Launch parties are perfect if you're looking for a more intimate experience, want to create your own schedule and activities, or simply need a beautiful venue to gather your community without the expectations of a public bookstore event.

Your book may be selected for our shelves, featured in our Blind Date with a Book program, included in a preorder campaign, or considered for future events and promotions.
Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we aren't able to personally respond to every inquiry.
If we decide to move forward with a direct partnership or event, we'll reach out using the contact information you provide. If your books are available through Ingram, we may simply place an order.
