Texas just banned hundreds of books—from classics to children’s favorites like Pinkalicious. Silencing stories is never harmless—it’s dangerous. Every book pulled from the shelf is one less voice, one less perspective, one less chance for curiosity and compassion to grow.

That’s why we’re fighting back the best way we know how: by reading.

Here’s how the evening will go:

• 5:00–5:30 PM → Gather, browse our banned book table, and play Banned Book Trivia to see how deep the crackdown runs.
• 5:30–6:30 PM → Silent, united protest: an hour of reading the very books others would rather you never see.
