🎄Once Upon a Holiday Market🎄 Dec 14th
A steamy, queer rom-com about a free-spirited event planner who fakes a relationship with her uptight business rival to win a bet, only to discover the line between hate and love is thinner than a business card.
Gianna Kostas is a people-pleaser. The perpetually upbeat and positive event planner can’t say no, which is how she ends up roped into bet with her smug, infuriatingly hot business rival, Desmond Hughes: whoever books the most clients before the Austin Food and Wine Festival wins. Winner takes all—including the other’s business. The only way out is to prove to her friends that she’s not a doormat and finally stand up for herself. Her first step? Telling a little white lie to her best friend: that she and Desmond are secretly dating. It’s the perfect plan… until her friends insist on a double date.
Desmond can’t believe he’s agreed to Gianna’s insane scheme. But if playing her fake boyfriend helps him win the bet and finally get her out of his hair—and his city—it will be worth it. Besides, he’s sure he can keep his professional and personal feelings separate, no matter how tempting Gianna’s pouty lips or sunshiny smile might be. But the more time they spend together, the more Desmond realizes there’s a world of difference between the Gianna he thought he knew and the one who fake laughs at his dad jokes and loves his mom’s cooking. And soon, this devil in a designer suit is in danger of losing not just the bet… but his heart, too.
