Secrets Drenched in Blood

“If you’re a good girl tonight, maybe I’ll treat you like a bad one later.”

As a human living in the isolated supernatural town of Midnight Harbor, there’s only two choices for me: leave Midnight or pledge my allegiance to one of the supernatural Houses.

It’s expected I’ll follow my family lineage and pledge myself to the Locke Vampire House. But with my pledging day approaching, I’m determined to live my own life and leave Midnight.

I would have made good on that promise if it wasn’t for my vampire neighbor, Bran Duval, black sheep of the powerful Duval House.

Bran reveals that my sister has secretly asked Duval House to bid on me breaking all of Midnight’s tradition. Bran doesn’t know the reason but I think he’s just as curious as I am because we’re soon teaming up to uncover the secrets.

But the longer I’m with Bran, the less control I seem to have over my own desires. Especially when Bran is commanding me in the dark, igniting something in me I didn’t even know I had.

And when Bran finally sinks his fangs into me, everything about my life comes into question.
